    Youths on the Move for Literacy
    TODAYS READERS ARE TOMORROWS LEADERS!
    Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2023 celebratory activities/events around the world.
    The Bahamas Young Library Cadets and Media and Information Literacy Junior and Secondary Students partner with 6th graders of Elementary Schools in reading games online activities, reading competition and at NLIS Info Ref centre venue to promote literacy in all forms. Promoting literacy for a world in transition: Building the foundation for sustainable and peaceful societies.

    Activities such as

    storytelling, Oral tradition of Bahamian culture, media, reading games, puzzles, miming, music, dance and dramatic plays would be featured from 28th October to 4th November 2023.
