This summer, we will read 5,000 books as a community. Let’s work together to fill the map!

We have summer reading programs for all ages:

Summer Challenge

Ages 5-17 years. Read books and complete activities to earn prizes!

Give Back to Reading (more to come).

Ages 18 and up. Complete Book Bingo and we’ll donate a book to a child for their home library.

The annual Global MIL Week activities and the feature conference are important opportunities for stakeholders globally to celebrate the progress achieved towards the process of “MIL for all”. Global MIL Week also enables connections and sharing of creative projects, the latest research, new ideas, and information across countries and stakeholders involved in MIL, and in print, screen-based and digital media.

Chinese Culture & Language Emergence in The Bahamas

Our local Media and Information Literacy event will be held on Saturday 30th October 2021 at  6:30 pm via zoom. Feature would include, Bahamian music, dance, skits, pantomime, poetry, rhymes, riddles, storytelling highlighting the evolution of media in “The Bahamas Way Back Yonder, A Bahamian Cultural Bonanza”.
